What are the relative sizes of parts converted using l3p compared to the l2p
parts library, and how do they compare in terms of rendering time?

As Datsville grows (exponentially, so far) I'm becoming concerned about huge
file sizes and ever-longer rendering times.  It's not been a problem yet, but
I can forsee it becoming so.
