The picture looks slightly indistinct, did you add a bit of atmospheric haze
for realism?


Yes, there's a distant 'fog' applied, it really makes the sky much better.

I knew it!  At first glance I thought it might just be a scaling artifact, a
slight blurring.  But looking closely I realized that it looked to good for
that.
I still haven't played around with fog or atmosphere - not much use for it in
space. (1)
