Mark, I hope you don't mind me correcting your original posting. The MPD file
was incorrect. You should have only one part per file, and the main piece
should be first in order, followed by subpieces and sub-subpieces (primitives).
And the file also had some wrapped lines in the ~4-4co89 file. You need to
make sure your linelength is set to more than 79 lines when posting dat files.
Set it up to around 150 or so, then put it back to 79 afterwards.

Yes. For LDraw, we would need to have components of this element available to
model curves. We could not add pre-made curve pieces with any hope of meeting
the requirements of all users. It would have to be done in a manner similar to
the existing small flex hose piece.

This primitive would, of course, have to approved by the primitives group. If
not, it could be inlined, or added as a subfile.

Good question. You say "sometimes". It might be a flaw. Anyone know?

It looks even more bizarre when viewed at lower sizes, like .9 or less.
That may be rendering artifacts, or there may be some way of fixing it. Any of
you whiz kids out there have any ideas?

Oblique views don't look too bad to me.
