I’ll try to answer Michael, Eric and Tore into one single post.

But definitively I’m and LDraw nob and this is not running well...

@Michael

I’m using, - 3626bp01.dat part for the minigfig head. - LPub 2.3.0.10 - POV Ray v3.1 for Windows

Into LPub I give information about LGEO location (C:LDraw\AppsLGEO) and select to use LGEO, so L3P should be using LGEO library to generate the POV-file

I’ve also installed latest lgeofix.zip content into LGEO folder.

@Eric

The image you presented is exactly what I’m looking for, but I’m getting this, instead...

Just the stud gets smooth surfaces.

The POV-file is generated via LPub with L3P, and what I see in POV-Ray is much larger than what you listed in your post reply. Also it doesn’t include any ‘#include “lg3626bp01.inc”’ neither it exists into LGEO folder. Just ‘lg3626.inc’

@Tore

The ‘3626pb01.dat’ I had into ‘LDraw/PARTS’ is a 4KB file with your name as author, which produced the image above.

If I replace it, with the version at http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=2288 The render terminates with the error below

If I replace it, with the code in your post reply, the render also terminates with error blow...

So, I’m completely lost... :(

(...) The picture you attached is based on triangles from LDRAW, so for whatever reason your LGEO substitution has not happened. If there are any "triangle" statements in your POV-Ray file, you know the LGEO replacement didn't work. I would guess (...) (15 years ago, 8-Aug-09, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

(...) Please let us have more informations. Part number of the head you are using. LGEO version that you use. I think this are the most important informations. Are you sure you have used LGEO library in generating POV-file? cu mikeheide (15 years ago, 7-Aug-09, to lugnet.cad)
