"Studless" hinges?

I'm referring to part 4592.dat (Hinge Control Stick Base). When I render
(POV-Ray 3.6) images with this part with the studs setting set to 0, only the
top portion of the part is showing. When I looked at the part in MLCad I can see
that it uses a stud as it's base. Is there a version of it that isn't built this
way? It's something I need in a "crap load" of models to render.

Now I have a new problem... I have a number of models that have exposed 4073.dat (Plate 1x1 Round). And again I'm rendering the models as studless. The 1x1's are also constructed with the base of the piece being a stud. If someone could give me (...) (17 years ago, 25-Jan-08, to lugnet.cad)
