Brilliant, Karim.  Abso-lutely brilliant.

Ow!  Dang!  Ow!  Karim! -- that's so cool it hurts!!!  Those corner-
connect hinges really look like the right kind of joints -- especially
from the inside of the legs.  And even though you (ahem :) cheated and
used gray minifig hands (which don't exist) it's still the coolest most
unique use of minifigs hands I think I've ever seen!

On the subject of color.  Not to impugn Karim's model, but have those
corner-connect hinges ever came in gray?  I have often wanted those hinges in
gray, but was under the impression that they might not exist that way.
Anyone know?

(...) Yes, they have. I have at least 6 in grey (yeah, I know, not enough to build even one ATAT...) I beleive they came one of the few post-futuron grey space models... a robot or some such. I don't remember the set#, but I kow that I got several (...) (26 years ago, 17-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad)
