One of my students built a large army of Samurai Minifigs about 20 across and 8

increase resolution with a render size up to 4 times (2560x1920).  It did not
seem to increase the size nor resolution.

How do we increase the resolution so that one could zoom into each Samurai's
face?

Hi Edwin,

Another option is to run povray with the command line switches (at the command
line or in the box) +W2560 +H1280 +UA. There may be a way to set this in L3pAO
but I've never used it so couldn't say for sure.

Hope this helps,

Tim
