(...) You shouldn't need an internet connection to run LDD. The only thing it does is check if there's a new version available before running - nothing else is transmitted. What exactly happens when you try and run it? -- Marc (20 years ago, 16-Jul-04, to lugnet.cad)

(...) The access is just to check if there is a new version available, if it can't connect LDD should just assume there's no new version and continue. It sounds like there's another issue with your video card that is preventing LDD from running at (...) (20 years ago, 19-Jul-04, to lugnet.cad)

(...) I know what the problem is now, you don't have any bricksets installed. The page it takes you to should have some brickset installers on but hasn't been updated yet - I'll raise it as a QA issue. To get them download the internet installers (...) (20 years ago, 20-Jul-04, to lugnet.cad)
