Re: Microfig Borg Cube —Jeremy H. Sproat
(...) I suggest we put these, and any others that are easily memorized, into the FAQ. Cheers, - jsproat (26 years ago, 25-Feb-99, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.faq)

Re: Microfig Borg Cube —Steve Bliss
(...) That sounds like a good idea, just because these parts are so basic. If the cheat sheet gets to be too big, then it should turn into a link to Patrick's catalog. Steve (26 years ago, 26-Feb-99, to lugnet.faq)

FAQ Size an issue? (Was: Microfig Borg Cube) —Jeremy H. Sproat
(...) A link would be cool, but then again is size really an issue in a FAQ? For me, anyway, the bigger the FAQ the better, 'cause it gives me something to read on those long car trips. :-, Cheers, - jsproat (26 years ago, 26-Feb-99, to lugnet.faq)

Re: FAQ Size an issue? (Was: Microfig Borg Cube) —Tom McDonald
(...) Do you use a laptop or do you actually go to the trouble make hard copies? :^) -Tom McD. (26 years ago, 28-Feb-99, to lugnet.faq)

Re: FAQ Size an issue? (Was: Microfig Borg Cube) —Jeremy H. Sproat
(...) :^) Ooooh, to have a laptop...! To dream the impossible dream! :-, I use hard copy, since a laptop is definitely out of my budget. Cheers, - jsproat (26 years ago, 28-Feb-99, to lugnet.faq)

Re: FAQ Size an issue? (Was: Microfig Borg Cube) —Jasper Janssen
(...) Come on, my laptop cost me $25.... Yes, it's a 286, and black/white display, and the battery doesn't quite work, but it can operate on a single 12V supply.. :) Jasper (26 years ago, 28-Feb-99, to lugnet.faq)

Re: Microfig Borg Cube —Jeremy H. Sproat
(...) Steve, Do you happen to have a URL for Patrick's catalog? Cheers, - jsproat (26 years ago, 28-Apr-99, to lugnet.faq)

Re: Microfig Borg Cube —Steve Bliss
(...) (URL), and follow the link to his LEGO page. Steve (26 years ago, 28-Apr-99, to lugnet.faq)

Re: Microfig Borg Cube —Jeremy H. Sproat
(...) Oh, *that* catalog. :-, I thought it was a cheat-sheet sort of thing with mnemonics and all sorts of memory-keeping features. I definitely think that the LDraw FAQ should include a quick-n-dirty cheat sheet, then. Earlier in this thread (1) (...) (26 years ago, 28-Apr-99, to lugnet.faq)

Re: Microfig Borg Cube —Todd Lehman
(...) Huh?--models in FAQ? Why? Where do you draw the line on what goes in and what doesn't? Better to give a list of links to models like this or a link to a list somewhere. --Todd (26 years ago, 28-Feb-99, to lugnet.faq)

Re: Microfig Borg Cube —Todd Lehman
(...) Oh. Or did you mean "common part numbers" when you said "these"? --Todd (26 years ago, 1-Mar-99, to lugnet.faq)

Part number in FAQ (Lugnet or LDraw) (was Re: Microfig Borg Cube) —Steve Bliss
(...) Bingo. Especially common part numbers which run in a sequence along with the size of related parts (like the 2x4, 2x3, 2x2, 2x1, 1x1 bricks are numbered in order from 3001 to 3005). I think Patrick's file has common, basic parts organized into (...) (26 years ago, 1-Mar-99, to lugnet.faq)

Re: Microfig Borg Cube —Jeremy H. Sproat
(...) Huh? What models? :-, When I said "these", I meant the easy-to-memorize patterns in TLG's part numbering schemes. Cheers, - jsproat (26 years ago, 1-Mar-99, to lugnet.faq)
