  Re: Advanced minifig animations

(...) Wow, you're right! I was able to import an OBJ version of my minifig created with LdrDat2Obj. It didn't like the 3DS version I created with LDView for some reason, however. I'm reading one of the tutorials on animation right now. I have a (...) (14 years ago, 8-Aug-10, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Advanced minifig animations

(...) A warning though: When you download the trial version of Poser 8 they ask for your credit card number. And in my case they charged $1 to it despite the trial version being free and the invoice showing $0. Mike (14 years ago, 8-Aug-10, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Advanced minifig animations

(...) I'm pretty sure you can do these kinds of things with blender (URL) it has a steep learning curve, and you'll have to create the minifig models from scratch. Roland (14 years ago, 8-Aug-10, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Advanced minifig animations

Re: BFC problems, model or converter?

(...) It does work rather well (MeshLab does support 3DS)... (...) Indeed, it seems that invertnext statement is ignored. On the minifig, only front and inside of hands are shown backwards in MeshLab (other inverted areas such as cap inside are (...) (14 years ago, 3-Aug-10, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Starfighter instructions

(...) Thanks! Just to be clear, the first image is an actual photo (although I did post some other images and test renderings of the LDraw version on Flickr). (...) Yep. My standard procedure is to build a model with real bricks, then to rebuild it (...) (14 years ago, 3-Aug-10, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.inst, FTX)

  Re: Starfighter instructions

(...) You may have borked the link, but your render is simply stunning. Well done, and thanks for posting! Did you use Bricksmith to create it? JOHN (14 years ago, 3-Aug-10, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.inst, FTX)

  Re: Starfighter instructions

(...) Ah, Lugnet. Looks like I borked the image links. Let's try that again. Here's the model, including links to the instruction images: (URL) And here's the first page of the instructions themselves: (URL) (14 years ago, 3-Aug-10, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.inst, FTX)
