  Need a BFC compliant model

For testing purposes (LDView and Meshlab), could someone please upload a model built completely from BFC certified parts? Preferably a vehicle or something with an obvious front, back, top, bottom, etc., and with more than 25 parts. Thank you! -Mike (15 years ago, 18-Sep-09, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: *** LDView Version 4.1 Beta 1 Released ***

(...) Looks great! Could you configure your program to take over some of the functions of LDBoxer? (URL) would be great to be able to export a minimal file that can later be converted to 3DS or OBJ. -Mike (15 years ago, 18-Sep-09, to lugnet.cad)

Re: LDraw.org 2009-02 Parts Update Now Available

(...) Here's how I install LDraw library parts updates: (URL) It's that easy - thanks, Travis! (Thanks also to Chris and all the part authors and reviewers, of course.) Jim (15 years ago, 18-Sep-09, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

Re: LDraw.org 2009-02 Parts Update Now Available

(...) It's wonderful to see all these fabulous parts released! Thanks for all the hard work. I am also very happy to see the TLG colors separated out into another reference file rather than being included in the official color list. That makes their (...)   Re: MPD Wizard now available for Mac

(...) This doesn't help with rendering. (...) This does, big time. I can use newer versions of official parts that may have better primitive usage. LDView helps with this a little bit better than L3P but I find a self contained MPD more convenient. (15 years ago, 18-Sep-09, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dev.mac, FTX)

Re: MPD Wizard now available for Mac

(...) I know I can construct an MPD purposefully with Bricksmith (and it's way more useful than the way MLCad does it). However, what MPD Wizard does that no other program that I know about does is compare a directory of unofficial part files to the (...) (15 years ago, 18-Sep-09, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

Re: MPD Wizard now available for Mac

(...) Considering Bricksmith's seamless support for submodels, I didn't initially see the need for MPD Wizard (my own (URL) Mac MPD Utility> is wonkier and long since obsolete). However, as Allen hints, I realize MPD Wizard does provide a few (...) (15 years ago, 18-Sep-09, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dev.mac, FTX)

Re: MPD Wizard now available for Mac

(...) Hi Orion, More Mac software is always nice! By the way, you can drag-and-drop models between Bricksmith's file contents outline and assemble an MPD that way. But it would probably be more useful for your purposes if you could drag in files (...) (15 years ago, 18-Sep-09, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

  MLCad.ini 2009-02 Update Now Available

Hi folks, I just updated the MLCad.ini file accordingly to the latest LDraw.org parts update 2009-02. The .ini file defines (among other things) the parts available in MLCad's minifigure generator. Download the file from my website: (URL) w. (15 years ago, 17-Sep-09, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.announce, lugnet.cad.mlcad)

Technic part file title issues and suggestions

It's this time of year again where I've got a bunch of part naming issues: - There are two official and a set of unofficial Technic Excavator Bucket parts.   MPD Wizard now available for Mac

Due to my recent re-interest in rendering LDraw models, I got tired of having to boot into Windows every time I wanted to make an MPD file. I'm pleased to announce that MPD Wizard is now available for Mac OSX: (URL) I only have access to one Mac and (...) (15 years ago, 17-Sep-09, to lugnet.cad)

Re: LDraw.org 2009-02 Parts Update Now Available

(...) Yes, there was - and I posted a message to that effect in the "Operational Status" area on the Parts Tracker home page. It is fixed now and the message has been removed - although the count of certified files has dropped to 212 ! Chris (15 years ago, 16-Sep-09, to lugnet.cad)

Re: LDraw.org 2009-02 Parts Update Now Available

Re: Mixed Orientation of NXT Sensors in LPub

  Colors in POV-Ray 3.7 Beta

If you render LDView's POV output using the POV-Ray 3.7 beta release, you will see that the colors all look washed out. This seems to be due to a difference in the way that POV-Ray 3.7 handles gamma correction. There are two things that you need to (...) (15 years ago, 10-Sep-09, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

Re: Mixed Orientation of NXT Sensors in LPub

Re: Mixed Orientation of NXT Sensors in LPub

Re: LDView Version 4.1 Beta 1 POV output bug report

  64179.dat

Yes, I did state at (URL) that I couldn't model this piece due to my lack of it - but the Front Loader appeared convienently (sp?) in the store and I had all the cash for it, so... now I have modelled the 'O-beam' as well. Enough story-telling: I (...) (15 years ago, 9-Sep-09, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, FTX)

Re: Mixed Orientation of NXT Sensors in LPub

Re: Mixed Orientation of NXT Sensors in LPub

LDView Version 4.1 Beta 1 POV output bug report
