Re: MPD Wizard now available for Mac

(...) I know I can construct an MPD purposefully with Bricksmith (and it's way more useful than the way MLCad does it). However, what MPD Wizard does that no other program that I know about does is compare a directory of unofficial part files to the (...) (15 years ago, 18-Sep-09, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

Re: MPD Wizard now available for Mac

(...) Considering Bricksmith's seamless support for submodels, I didn't initially see the need for MPD Wizard (my own (URL) Mac MPD Utility> is wonkier and long since obsolete). However, as Allen hints, I realize MPD Wizard does provide a few (...) (15 years ago, 18-Sep-09, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dev.mac, FTX)

Re: MPD Wizard now available for Mac

(...) Hi Orion, More Mac software is always nice! By the way, you can drag-and-drop models between Bricksmith's file contents outline and assemble an MPD that way. But it would probably be more useful for your purposes if you could drag in files (...) (15 years ago, 18-Sep-09, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

  MLCad.ini 2009-02 Update Now Available

Hi folks, I just updated the MLCad.ini file accordingly to the latest LDraw.org parts update 2009-02. The .ini file defines (among other things) the parts available in MLCad's minifigure generator.   Technic part file title issues and suggestions

It's this time of year again where I've got a bunch of part naming issues: - There are two official and a set of unofficial Technic Excavator Bucket parts. The problem just is that the buckets' don't only work as excavator buckets; front loaders, (...) (15 years ago, 17-Sep-09, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

MPD Wizard now available for Mac

Due to my recent re-interest in rendering LDraw models, I got tired of having to boot into Windows every time I wanted to make an MPD file. I'm pleased to announce that MPD Wizard is now available for Mac OSX: (URL) I only have access to one Mac and (...) (15 years ago, 17-Sep-09, to lugnet.cad)

Re: LDraw.org 2009-02 Parts Update Now Available

(...) Yes, there was - and I posted a message to that effect in the "Operational Status" area on the Parts Tracker home page. It is fixed now and the message has been removed - although the count of certified files has dropped to 212 ! Chris (15 years ago, 16-Sep-09, to lugnet.cad)

Re: LDraw.org 2009-02 Parts Update Now Available

(...) Great - thanks, Chris! (...) The Parts Tracker stats are extremely optimistic: Stats for Unofficial Files 1 files need more votes. 3 have uncertified subfiles. ...and unofficial parts list show only the 4 most recently submitted parts. (...) (15 years ago, 16-Sep-09, to lugnet.cad)

Re: LDraw.org 2009-02 Parts Update Now Available

(...) I don't understand why you are even commenting on the LDraw0801.exe. This thread is announcing 2009-02. Is the confusion that there is no link to the complete zip archive in this article (URL) ? If you go to (URL) you should see a link to (...) (15 years ago, 16-Sep-09, to lugnet.cad)

Re: LDraw.org 2009-02 Parts Update Now Available

(...) Why LDraw0801.exe is still an windows only file and not and zip ? I find it hard for us macosx , NIX users to update or to install all ldraw from zero since ldraw is nearly windows only software and badly mantained since it doesn't have an zip (...) (15 years ago, 16-Sep-09, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Mixed Orientation of NXT Sensors in LPub

(...) I'd really appreciate being able to select predefined paper sizes. If eventually people ask for arbitrary sizes you could always include a 'custom' option in which to select the desired size, but I believe that for the average user the (...) (15 years ago, 15-Sep-09, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Mixed Orientation of NXT Sensors in LPub

(...) Until I figure out how to control arbitrary size, I think so. I should just (hah!) change the dialog to only allow the paper sizes. The program is supposed to round up to the next whole paper size, but obviously this doesn't work right, right (...) (15 years ago, 14-Sep-09, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Colors in POV-Ray 3.7 Beta

(...) I also discovered this a while back while working on LD4DStudio 1.1, it's seems weird at first. But the change is really logical when you think about it.
