The LSC just ratified and made changes to the (URL) sticker spec for official parts>. There were two main changes, and one minor change to accommodate one of the main changes: The transparent portion of clear stickers should now be modeled in color (...) Hello All, I'm just getting started in rendering with POV-Ray. You can see my first attempt at the URL below. I attempted to replicate the look of the (URL) McLaren MP-42> Formula One car using the 8458 Silver Champion model. I got the colors and (...) (...) I have POVray 3.6 running perfectly on my Vista machine (have you tried installing that one?). LPub 4.X has no problems either. Nor does the latest LDview or most other LDraw related programs I've tried (a few part authoring tools break the (...) (16 years ago, 15-Nov-08, to lugnet.cad)

(...) When I heard about the Vista announcement, the first thing I did was buy 4 new copies of XP pro, but I guess ignoring Vista isn't so good over the long run. I'll have to get Vista and run it under Sun's Virtual Box, running on my x86 Mac and (...) (16 years ago, 14-Nov-08, to lugnet.cad)

(...) I just have googled a little bit and it seems to me that maybe different version of the Microsoft C++ Librarys cause the error. Please see (URL) or also search for your error code. As I do not have vista I can not help more. cu mikeheide (16 years ago, 14-Nov-08, to lugnet.cad)
