I am planning on giving a Lego related talk and wanted to create a minifig with conferences logo printed on the torso. Is there any easy way to do this? I've tried using the BMP2LDraw utility to convert the logo to LDraw format but it errors out (...) (17 years ago, 23-May-07, to lugnet.cad)

(...) I think Curiously should be replaced with "Distressingly" or something similar. The official MPD tutorial on ldraw.org is telling people to do something that completely violates the MPD spec. (...) I spent a couple evenings looking over this when it was first released. For a proprietary format, it's nicely straightforward (the widespread use of XML lately helps, of course). (...) Interestingly, 2.0 contained more information in than 2.1 (...) (17 years ago, 21-May-07, to lugnet.cad.ldd)

(...) Tim, I agree. At the time the article was written, MPD was a way of packing files for easy shipping. These days it is the preffered way of working with any model that has at least one sub-model. Starting and ending as MPD is much better than (...) (17 years ago, 20-May-07, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)
