Re: complete.txt out of date in complete updates

(...) Thanks for pointing this out. I'll take a look at the immediate problem, and at why it is not getting updated automatically. Chris (18 years ago, 23-Apr-06, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

complete.txt out of date in complete updates

Just as a note, the file complete.txt that is included in the complete parts updates hasn't been updated since the 2003-02 update. Among other things, complete.txt contains a list of the updates that are included in the complete package, and that (...) (18 years ago, 23-Apr-06, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: Call for GUI part editor

(...) I did a quick test with MLCAD 3.11 and noticed the following: (Opened a partfile in MLCAD and save it under a different filename and then compared the two files) MLCad adds two rotation commands to the header 0 ROTATION CENTER 0 0 0 1 "Custom" (...) (18 years ago, 21-Apr-06, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Call for GUI part editor

Steve Bliss schrieb: snip (...) snip I can not agree. All parts that I have done are made with MLCad. The only things I have to do before uploading is: 1) Remove lines with color entries (if you have some special added) 2) Remove lines with "ROTATE" (...) (18 years ago, 20-Apr-06, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Classic Windows

(...) Thanks, Gary, That has also been pointed out earlier, but since it doesn't affect the function or "behaviour" af the parts, those differences will be neglected in LDraw. /Tore (18 years ago, 20-Apr-06, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.general)

  Re: Classic Windows

(...) OK, I was just studying the differences between the solid stud classic windows/doors, and the hollow stud variety. And I found another difference.... If you take hollow stud classic windows/doors, and lay them face down, you will see that the (...) (18 years ago, 20-Apr-06, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Classic Windows

(...) Sorry to take over 2 years to answer this, but I never visit lugnet.cad..... Only the recent posts to this thread made me view the entire thread. All solid stud windows are otherwise identical to the "long ledge" variety, and that includes the (...) (18 years ago, 20-Apr-06, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Classic Windows: Variants of 646*.dat

(...) (Details snipped) By naming scheme, I meant file-naming scheme. I didn't detect that the descriptions were too long unitl I tried to post them to the Parts Tracker, and wasn't that happy with how I ended up abbreviating them. At a first glance (...)   Re: Call for GUI part editor

(...) Ummmm.... given that.... could you be so kind as to tell me what those are? This way I can choose to/or not use MLCad and then clean things up afterwards. Thanks... (...) To be honest, I figured there were some approaches to this issue already (...) (18 years ago, 19-Apr-06, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Call for GUI part editor

(...) Hi Anders, Sorry for the tardy reply. I failed to mention primitives, because they are easy to work with compared to the manual nature of quads, tris and lines. That post was too huge to start with, so it is a good thing I didn't mention them (...) (18 years ago, 19-Apr-06, to lugnet.cad)

(...) Since a very long time; LDLite 1.6 supported it, and it wasn't the first version to do so. My LDLite 1.6 files are dated March, 1999. The LDLite meta-commands are very useful -- I used them when I modeled the soccer ball, way back when. (...) (...) (18 years ago, 19-Apr-06, to lugnet.cad)
