Tonight I hammered out the Droid Wheel Gear. I used lots of sub parts, and I think it is pretty efficient, especially considering how many fins and teeth this thing has! I will post the dats in a follow up in plain text. (2 URLs) (19 years ago, 1-Dec-05, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, FTX)

(...) Still haven't heard back from the Poser software vendor. I'm starting to think that they don't take Legos seriously. ;) I added a more interesting pose to the (URL) folder> and a (URL) render>. Ok, here is the dat file reposted, one more time. It doesn't include any of your suggestions yet. I will work on that. Thanks for the feedback. I'll look at the model again and see if I can rig it up with sub-parts. I was worried that sub-parts will (...) (19 years ago, 1-Dec-05, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

(...) Hey, that sounds like really good idea though. Wonder why it didn't even cross my mind. I guess I wasn't That eager to render that minifig, but now I am :) I could easyly use the low-res fig as a template. However, I can recall I've seen (...) (19 years ago, 30-Nov-05, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

I thought about suggesting that, but unless you skip the polygons around the outside of the blade, (and put them into a higher-level "full blade" sub-part), this will add new polygons, since the polygons around the outside of the blade span (...) (19 years ago, 30-Nov-05, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)
