I'm pleased to announce the relaunch of LDraw.org's MOTM/SOTM contest. After writing a few thousand lines of code, the core functionality for the new contest and voting module finished. There's not a whole lot different visually but the archive (...) (19 years ago, 28-Nov-05, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw, lugnet.announce) !

(...) Hi Niels, I'm not sure exactly what you mean by the rotation vector of a triangle? There isn't really one as a triangle is defined by three points (9 components) whereas a rotation matrix/vector is defined by only 1 point (3 components). A (...) (19 years ago, 27-Nov-05, to lugnet.cad)

Uhm, it's the rotation VECTOR I need... The rotation matrix would just screw up the dimensions of the primitive. So does anyone have a program or formula that can give me the rotation vector of a triangle? -NB (19 years ago, 27-Nov-05, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)
