  Re: Stickers in different colors

How do you create stickers in Ldraw? And would these render out to POV? I've tried a couple of things, but either the programs don't work well or the stickers don't render out. (19 years ago, 21-Jul-05, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Stickers in different colors

I found a sticker with black town car grille pattern in good condition, so I'm going to create this sticker in LDraw. This sticker has been used in a few different colors: * Black pattern on yellow surface (set 646) * Black pattern on red surface (...) (19 years ago, 21-Jul-05, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Did you do a "hit test" on each vertext/face within lego units, or perhaps do a boolean subtract out of a composite lego 'block'? Inquiring minds want to (...)   Re: Do we have a plan B?

(...) Speaking for myself and not the SteerCo, I want to stick with LUGNET until the bitter end. I was dismayed when some of the other communities spun off discussion groups as I think this segregated the community further (and I hate phpBB which (...)   Re: Do we have a plan B?

(...) I'd be happy just using NNTP, as long as we don't have to go with an email confirmation like we do here. That's what made me switch to almost exclusively using the web interface. ROSCO (19 years ago, 20-Jul-05, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Re: Do we have a plan B?

(...) Gah. I really don't want to think about it, but if the Steering committee wants it, it should be reasonably easy to set up an NNTP/Mail server... And I'm sure we can find some package to put a web interface on it. (19 years ago, 19-Jul-05, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Do we have a plan B?

Re: LSC - request for defining a WORKING connection database standard

(...) Hi Willy, I think "working" needs a tool. 1. there is a tool 2. there is a developping database There is no chicken-egg problem: the tool always precedes the database.
