Re: Help Request: LDList & LDLite Problems

(...) Hi Kim, I have some answers for you: LDList needs to know where you installed LDraw. Here's how you tell LDList the correct information by setting the LDRAWDIR environment varible: - Click on the start menu - Right click on My Computer and (...) (21 years ago, 19-Feb-04, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Automated minifig walking animation include file for Povray (Was: 8002 destroyer)

(...) I think I have the same idea as you have. The function (method?) "<Minifig01>.MFWalk = 40" is unfortunately hard-coded inside the exe file. I don't want it that way. I want it to be an external, easy-to-make module from a library, and the next (...) (21 years ago, 18-Feb-04, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.animation)

Help Request: LDList & LDLite Problems

At Brickfest PDX this last weekend I obtained a copy of Tim, Steve & Ahui's "Virtual Lego" book. I'm really quite enjoying it! I've been a peripheral user of the LDraw parts library for years now but I stopped upgrading once the parts reference was (...) (21 years ago, 18-Feb-04, to lugnet.cad)

LDA2001 Quickstart (Was: Automated minifig walking...)

(...) My program was written a couple of years ago. The primary idea was not the program itself, but to create a syntax that could cover all needs for animation. There are many programmers at Lugnet much more skilled than me, so I thought that if (...) (21 years ago, 18-Feb-04, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.animation)

  Re: New website: www.holly-wood.it

(...) I see them now. I missed that the image was a live link. Excellent quality images there. Was the moonscape background done in the render program or is it post processed? I'm getting bored of plain backgrounds. Allister (21 years ago, 18-Feb-04, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.space, lugnet.build.microscale)

Re: Mac Brick CAD 2.1b1 New Release

(...) Do you watch movies on it? I could easily see a 22" display serving as a TV replacement :) (...) Me too. Shift clicking and command clicking do not select multiple parts in MBC 2.1. Shift or command dragging doesn't select anything at all. (...) (21 years ago, 18-Feb-04, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac)

Re: Automated minifig walking animation include file for Povray (Was: 8002 destroyer)

Hi Tore, I gave your program a spin. I'd say we are not that far away in conceptual terms. "My aim is to let the program I'm currently working on take on the grunt work." Is pretty much what I'm thinking. And the whole "march.exe" idea is right on (...) (21 years ago, 18-Feb-04, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.animation)

Re: Create bill of materials (.TXT file)

(...) Hi Kevin, This aproach works fine on my PC too. Perhaps i did something wrong the first time, but i stay at my idea of TAB delimeter files for the fact that it would be easier to get every thing in nice columns. As you take a close look, (...) (21 years ago, 18-Feb-04, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

Re: LDRAWPREDIRS LDRAWPOSTDIRS - additional search paths

(...) ME and the NT variants store the environment in the registry so this would only make things worse for 95 and 98. That said, I'd still prefer to keep things short for the environment version of this. One variable, with as many shortcuts as (...) (21 years ago, 18-Feb-04, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Mac Brick CAD 2.1b1 New Release

Andrew, thanks for the reply. (...) Ok. (...) Not a big deal from a practical standpoint. (...) Lucky duckie!
