Re: MegaPOV Missing from LPub Menu

(...) I tried very hard to not have partition matter. LPub looks up POV-Ray's installation location using the registry. It then looks in that directory for megapov. Did you put megapov in with povray? (...) Thanks, Kevin (21 years ago, 22-Aug-03, to lugnet.cad.ray)

  Q? DAT for Wedge 4 x 4 Curved 45677?

I humbly ask if anyone can point me to an unofficial or work-in-progress .dat file for the new World City element 4x4 plate with roof/hood contour? Peeron lists this element as, (URL) Wedge 4 x 4 Curved (45677)>. Thanks. later, James Mathis (21 years ago, 22-Aug-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, FTX)

  MegaPOV Missing from LPub Menu

I am pretty sure this has been discussed but I can't find it in the LUGNET archive. I have installed POV 3.1 and MegaPOV 0.7 on a fast server along with LPub. When I go to load my LPub configuration file it doesn't recognize MegaPOV and it doesn't (...) (21 years ago, 22-Aug-03, to lugnet.cad.ray)

Re: Converting POV Bitmaps to PNG?

(...) LPub post processes the images, and won't be able to do that if you force PNG behind the scenes. I'll resume work on PNG support in LPub.   Re: Converting POV Bitmaps to PNG?

(...) Why not let POVray generate .PNG directly? I know it's possible when you run POV 'by hand', but I don't know if LPub lets you set that option. Maybe you can modify somewhere in the pov .ini-chain to get the option set regardless of what LPub (...) (21 years ago, 22-Aug-03, to lugnet.cad.ray)

  Converting POV Bitmaps to PNG?

When I build instructions I like to work with PNG files. Historically I have produced bitmaps with LD-Lite and converted them to PNG with ImageMagick. I am using LPub to drive POV-Ray and the output is also bitmap (BMP). When I run ImageMagick on (...) (21 years ago, 22-Aug-03, to lugnet.cad.ray)

  Re: Construction animation with Lpub

(...) Indeed, I don't need the power of Lpub in that case, L3PAO is just fine ! Cheers, Philo (21 years ago, 22-Aug-03, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Construction animation with Lpub

(...) Just do it the old fashion way using LDraw to L3PAO (make sure you have include STEPS switch on) to POV-Ray and you shoud be okay. Even if you do get LPub to work (once Kevin adds the option) you will only have images at the end and will still (...) (21 years ago, 21-Aug-03, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Construction animation with Lpub
