  Re: LDraw Tutorial Categories

(...) I think this is already being covered in Mod 101 - Buildng your 1st model with an editor (MLCad, Leocad, etc...) We will need one for each... Are you volunteerting? - Ahui (23 years ago, 8-Feb-02, to lugnet.cad)

  Is there a moved-to utility?

While working with old model files like Datsville, I used to get countless moved-to-messages. I am pretty sure that ML-Cad prompts the user if he/she wants the program to change the references, but that could still be quite a time-consuming thing to (...)   Re: LDraw Tutorial Categories

What about tutorials that are specific to one program? Like "Introduction to LeoCad" for example. (23 years ago, 8-Feb-02, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: LDraw Tutorial Categories

(...) This is exactly what I'm doing right now! A "behind the scenes" diary describing my current work on a Datsville animation. I may make it in two versions: one brief on how I made the right steps, and one long with all mistakes and sidesteps (...) (23 years ago, 8-Feb-02, to lugnet.cad)

Re: When will be the next ldraw parts update be out?

(...) That's great. A 50-60 part update every four-six weeks is much better than we achieved last year. IMHO, that really shows the benefit of the time investment you have put into the Parts Tracker. Chris (23 years ago, 7-Feb-02, to lugnet.cad)

(...) I expect I'll put update 2002-01 'to bed' next week. Steve (23 years ago, 7-Feb-02, to lugnet.cad)

Re: When will be the next ldraw parts update be out?

(...) Yes and no. We definitely need more people reviewing files. OTOH, there are 31 files flagged "Needs admin review". I have to check each of those files, and the comments and history associated with them. So I'm being a bit of a bottleneck right (...) (23 years ago, 7-Feb-02, to lugnet.cad)

Re: When will be the next ldraw parts update be out?

"Franklin W. Cain" <fwcain@yahoo.com> wrote in message news:Gr6LF1.GLB@lugnet.com... (...) IIRC, Steve's been asking for people to help review parts as well. Could this be part of the holdup? -Tim (23 years ago, 7-Feb-02, to lugnet.cad)
