(...) Yes, this end part can be connected to any eight diameter rod, just as you can with a proper, real life pneumatic tube. (...) Yes to all the above. I tried LEdit, was too slow, and the redraw rate [on my machine] is enough to induce a seizure. Also, I use a 28.8 modem, so I'm very hesitant about downloading another program that prolly won't work after the LEdit (...) (23 years ago, 24-Aug-01, to lugnet.cad)

Here's an example file which illustrates the two pneumatic tube elements I posted. The segment file was done by Jaco van der Molen, and inspired me to do this.
