Re: Reiterate: How to make a squish matrix?

that shouldn't be too hard either. just operate the matrix on the points alone. if your cilinder has it's axle around the Y axle. L is the length of the cilinder and if it starts at 0 0 0 you could use (1-y/L) 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 (1-y/L) this would turn (...) (24 years ago, 25-Apr-01, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.ray)

A question on making movies on a low resolution

I would like to know is there any good resolution betwen 320x200 and 160x120? because It takes too long to render in 320x200 and 160x120 is too small (24 years ago, 25-Apr-01, to lugnet.cad.ray)

Re: Reiterate: How to make a squish matrix?

(...) Yes, but it's not what Sproat needs. He needs to scale X and Z as a function of Y. Something like: x' = xy Which is something transform matrices cannot do. Steve (24 years ago, 25-Apr-01, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.ray)

Re: idea for a new version

(...) Using a sub-model with MLCAD, you can set the rotation center for the sub-model and achieve this. I use this technique on legs. Visio has a function similar to this. Parts can be defined with connection points. These connection points snap (...) (24 years ago, 25-Apr-01, to lugnet.cad)

Minifig Head with Darth Maul pattern 3626bpDM.dat (in progress)  [DAT]

Latest version of the head, face now 50% complete, no optional lines. Should be able to complete this by the end of the week. Part number was suggested by Franklin Cain, but if Steve or Chris want to suggest another one I'm open to discussion :) (...) (24 years ago, 25-Apr-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: Where can I get a part number for a patterned piece?

"Franklin W. Cain" <fwcain@yahoo.com> wrote in message news:GCBq8L.BD4@lugnet.com... (...) night, in the vain hope that there was a URL to the current request page (if one existed). I'll use the name you've suggested. Dan (24 years ago, 25-Apr-01, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: idea for a new version

yes that idea would work very well. for example it would allow me to rotate xwing wings really easily! but programming side would be tough ill bet. but maybe set kind of "bone animation" which all parts linked to the special "bone" type of legs ( (...) (24 years ago, 25-Apr-01, to lugnet.cad)

  idea for a new version

Keep in mind that I know nothing about turing, html, computer, or anything of that type that requires neurons. I'm simply suggesting that this would be a cool feature that would make building and designing a lot easier. Make a kind of snap function (...) (24 years ago, 25-Apr-01, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Parts Update?

(...) Jeremy, You don't have to beg... I am perfectly willing to share all the parts I have created or updated that are either official or could have a multi-purpose uses. For example, the 1 x 2 C.V.G.S. Tile is a 4-color version of a 5-colored tile (...) (24 years ago, 25-Apr-01, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dat.parts, lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)
