How can I improve this model? (Front loader)  [DAT]

The focus of this model has largely been the functions, and I am pretty happy with the functions I have implemented. The rear wheels are steerable with the middle, top grey gear on the rear part. The bucket can be tilted with the yellow handle on (...) (24 years ago, 22-Feb-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

About making a personal Lego CD-ROM

I started making the directories and thinking on what will be in it but I whould like to see screenshots of other people CDs if the made one or if they are working on one. At the moment the CD will have this: Instructions (only the ones I had and (...) (24 years ago, 22-Feb-01, to lugnet.cad)

Re: New part, need a part number.

(...) No, you weren't, but your version is more detailed. You might download Tore's mockup of the part, and compare your version to his, to look for differences. But then you gotta figure out whose file is more accurate... Steve (24 years ago, 22-Feb-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: Official model repository situation

(...) I see the situation this way. On set instructions, it may say (c)1999 LEGO Group. As many copyright disclaimers say something like this: No part of this publication may be reproduced, stored in a retrieval system or transmitted in any form or (...)   Re: New part, need a part number.

Well, it apears that I was not the first to create this part. I honestly tried to find it, really I did :). Thanks for the help. (...) (24 years ago, 22-Feb-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: Number for hoses/tubes ?

(...) Are the old technic hoses the same hoses used in the classic space? I definitely don't have those numbers, either way. My understanding is that there are quite a few part numbers for the modern tube items, because of the large number of (...) (24 years ago, 21-Feb-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: The Titanic is sinking!!

(...) Nah. It totally screwed the builder and the line's owner, both of whom survived the disaster, but it was the war (and the loss of some converted liners to U-boats--the one in the ray-traces on the bottom looks more like the _Britannic_ than (...) (24 years ago, 21-Feb-01, to lugnet.cad.ray)

  Re: The Titanic is sinking!!

(...) :) I believe the owner was White Star Lines. Are they still around? Seems like they pretty much went down with the ship... But it would be difficult to see how they could complain about you depicting the sinking of a ship that actually sank... (...) (24 years ago, 21-Feb-01, to lugnet.cad.ray)

Re: next parts update ----> *when* ???

(...) Hopefully, Partsref will be updated more frequently, with new parts being listed soon after they are added to the LDraw parts library. Optimally, an automatic feed would be set up, so the changes would occur in Partsref ASAP. Steve (24 years ago, 21-Feb-01, to lugnet.cad.dev)
