(...) Lutz Uhlman's LGEO library does just this with some exceptions. It is a high quality library of many of the parts from LDraw in POV-Ray. It has a slightly steeper learning curve as compared to using L3P but I would still recommend it to anyone (...) (24 years ago, 4-Dec-00, to lugnet.cad.ray)

two main parts this is missing...the large trans-blue insectoid wings (substituted in the model)and the large insectoid leg. for completion purposes i'm using paul easter's draft of the large insectoid leg (downloadable here: (URL) FOR YOUR WORK ON (...) (...) This is a very cool feature, for anyone 'rolling their own'. I'd definitely recommend it for including scanned/bitmap images (like printed tiles), as the POV-Ray versions will be far superior to an BMP2DAT2POV-Ray conversion. For official (...) (24 years ago, 4-Dec-00, to lugnet.cad.ray)

I use it in conjunction with LDAO, and stand-alone sometimes. What I'd most like to see is an option to automatically scale and center the model. And, like Steve (I think) said, to crop saved images to the model boundaries to save space. Thanks, (...) (24 years ago, 4-Dec-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)
