  MOTM entrance question

Hi all, Just a quick survey of opinion. Given the fact that I oversee the voting, is there any objection to me submitting an entry in the MOTM? Am I trustworthy enough to handle it, or would it be preferable to have some oversight of the results? (...) (24 years ago, 2-Dec-00, to lugnet.announce, lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Winner of the December 2000 ldraw MOTM is.......

Hi all, I was going to do this later, but won't have time, so mid-Saturday it is. The winner for December 2000 is "the Gorgon" by William Fitzgerald. (URL) William for a very cool model. Most all the entries did pretty well, but William had a clear (...) (24 years ago, 2-Dec-00, to lugnet.announce, lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Looks sweet. >;-) I'll have to build it in real-life and compare it to my Beretta 92FS (actual pistol, not Lego). Thanks, Franklin (24 years ago, 2-Dec-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

  Re: Screensaver anyone?

  Beretta 9mm Pistol  [DAT]

I threw this together in about 2 hours tonight. It's roughly life-sized and fits into my hand nicely. I was really surprised at how well it turned out, since I didn't hit the web for pics or anything, I just worked from memory (movies, video games (...)   Screensaver anyone?

Has anyone made a rendering engine that could be set up as a screensaver for Windoze? It would be SO COOL if my FLL team could have their robot rotating around the laptop screen at tournaments... Thanks! -Peter Coach, FLL Team #1096: The Unibots (24 years ago, 2-Dec-00, to lugnet.cad.ray)
