Hi, where can I find monorail parts like monorail wheels, etc. ? Thanx. Norbi (24 years ago, 28-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Light trans blue in MLCAD comes out as trans dark-blue in POV-RAY

Hi Larry, I just tried using 43 for 41 and it comes out looking way too green. I found the solution though. Check out my next post in lugnet.cad.ray!   Fix for Trans - light - blue showing as trans-dark-blue in POV-RAY

I recently posted to lugnet.cad.ray asking for a solution to this problem. When you use L3p to convert .dat files to .pov, it seems to convert the trans-light-blue parts into trans-dark-blue. Based on the suggestions, I think I've isolated the (...) (24 years ago, 28-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad.ray, lugnet.cad)

Re: Light trans blue in MLCAD comes out as trans dark-blue in POV-RAY

(...) I'll give that a whirl, thanks very much!!!! However I would say this is "wrong" on the face of it, since it's counterintuitive. If this color 43 is really trans light blue, it ought to be named that in common usage, including within all the (...) (24 years ago, 28-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad.ray)

(...) I almost directly quoted that. Like the previous person has said, i'd really like to see the dat. My 8880 is stashed away in my mom's closet MISB just waiting to be wrapped for Christmas...   MOTM voting irregularities - Florida all over again?

Hi all, OK, listen up. This message is for a small percentage of people out there. Voting more than once for a model does not work. All IP addresses are logged and it is easy to spot duplicates. Duplicates are deducted from the score. Easy to spot, (...) (24 years ago, 28-Nov-00, to lugnet.announce, lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

(...) Jeez Jeff, where have you been for the last month? Haven't you at least heard about the Debacle (or should I say Travesty? Farce?) in Florida? The year 2000 may well be known to future generations as the year of the chad. Sad, isn't it? -- (...) (24 years ago, 28-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Re: Light trans blue in MLCAD comes out as trans dark-blue in POV-RAY

Thanks for posting this Bram. How would I use this? (Assuming I am using MLCAD, l3p, and then POV-RAY)? Is there a way to make it a global include for POV-RAY? If I have to keep manually including it, that would be kind of annoying. I guess I could (...) (24 years ago, 28-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad.ray)

  Re: bend thingie creator.

Bezier and Hermite curves are very similar, but I don't use Bezier curves because the control points are not very user-friendly, I'd rather have tangents (...)   Re: LDLite center offset problem?
