  L3PAdd-On v1.2.7

Here's where to get it: (URL) here's what's new: Version 1.2.7 ---...--- Fixed a bug in the routine to check for the validity of directories retrieved from the registry. Removed the final backslash from the output path (L3P didn't like it). Fixed a (...) (24 years ago, 1-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: sample animation

(...) Thanks, I glad you liked it! There are 1200 frames and it took about 2 days on my 600 Mhz P3. -Chuck (24 years ago, 1-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: sample animation

Chuck, It is fantastic! The spline path gives the camara a nice smooth movement. There are a lot of tranparent peices, how long did it take to render all of the frames? How many frames are there? If this is just the sample, I can't wait to see the (...) (24 years ago, 1-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Part repost: 4150p102.dat: Tile 2x2 with Hologameboard pattern

Matt, A few things to consider. 1. Send a message to Tore (tore.eriksson@mbox3...wipnet.se) to _register_ the part you;ve just encoded, and the "P"-number you're using, to help _prevent_ someone else from trying to use that same "P"-number. 2.   sample animation

For a long time now I have been wanting to do an animation of a camera moving through a Lego model. I finally finished my first test case. This was modeled with MLCad. First I created 36 modules that were 8x8 studs each, 28 turns, and 8 straights. I (...) (24 years ago, 1-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Classic Space set 6888

(...) Since no one seems to have anything to say about the scans, I've uploaded some clearer pics of the images before they were "scanned". (URL) case anyone is interested, here's how I made the pics: I started by LDrawing the model and components (...)   Re: Searching for parts

(...) Sounds like the only way out of your dilemma is for the programs to be smart enough to recognize that the current directory *is* the ldraw\parts\ directory, and proceed accordingly. Steve (24 years ago, 1-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Follow up to Camera Tricks

In lugnet.cad, Lars C. Hassing wrote about using .DAT objects to model camera positions... Since we've already got LIGHT.DAT in the LCAD library, should we add these other objects as psuedo-parts, too? Steve (24 years ago, 1-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad)

  repost: chains1.dat  [DAT]

With type 5 lines, not type 2. And Don, I didn't see any squirrelyness when I went over the part again.   Searching for parts

Awhile back there was a thread about seams, subparts, and relations between them with respect to L3P and L3Lab. After a great deal of confusion on my part about what was causing the problem, I had an e-mail conversation with Lars Hassing which (...) (24 years ago, 1-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Correct attribution? (was Re: Parts tracker needs more visibility

(...) Yes. For starters, consider this. LDraw.org the organization belongs in with other organizations. LDraw the program ought to be parallel to MLCad and LEOCad and the other groups devoted to programs. ldraw/parts seems somehow wrong. Parts at (...)   Re: Yet another L3PAO update

LGEO and L3P (Where is Lutz Uhlmann?)

More than a year ago Lutz Uhlmann agreed that L3P could reference his high quality LGEO pov parts. He promissed to send some info regarding the binary format of the element table files. However, I have not heard from him since despite several mails. (...) (24 years ago, 1-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad)
