  Studline substitution?

Is there any way to set LEdit to substitute certain parts for simpler, faster- rendering stand-in parts, a la STUDLINE? Or is there a way to set a specific part to make such a substitution? I'm working on a biggish model, and I weary of watching (...) (24 years ago, 9-Oct-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  LDraw CD-ROM Issues

Well... I guess its about time for an update. First off, I must apologize to everyone, because I've been way too busy to work on this project. I feel like I'm letting you down. At this point, I have too many things going on to think about an LDraw (...) (24 years ago, 9-Oct-00, to lugnet.announce, lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw) !

Re: Looking for dat file to make sphere

(...) There a guy named John Gramley that made easter eggs, and the round end of these eggs resemble a sphere.   Re: new part- UCS X-wing canopy

(...) Not your fault. it happens (...) Keywords tell Ldraw/MLCad what to put it under in the library (i think). If it is a minifig hat it will put it under minifig catagory. (...) I don't have a clue. Sorry :-) Rick (24 years ago, 9-Oct-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: new part- UCS X-wing canopy

(...) Uh oh! Now my ignorance is showing. Well, so much for 'WOW'ing people with my first part! OK, ummm... What are "keywords", and how would I include them in .dat and/or .mpd files?   Re: to be clone or not to be clone

(...) Thomas: I don't know if this part is still a mystery for you, but I got one in a lot of Coko bricks in a recent auction. TYCO and Coko have a bunch of very similar pieces, even inasmuch as they're both clones of another product. Dave! (24 years ago, 9-Oct-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)
