  Re: "Needs Work"- Needs Work

(...) I am happy to incorporate / edit the existing text, and now I can see (URL) and the pages it links to, but these are some missing HTML end tags. Internet Explorer (4.0) can cope with these, but Netscape (4.08) cannot and just displays the raw (...) (24 years ago, 19-Sep-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Problems with 4773 (Light & Sound Colored Globe)

(...) Actually, for historical reasons, the "4-4ring3.dat" primitive is named "ring3.dat". Chris (24 years ago, 19-Sep-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Problems with 4773 (Light & Sound Colored Globe)  [DAT]

I just noticed that part 4773 (Light & Sound Colored Globe) seems to have a few problems. There are two gaps around the outside (the top one is extremely narrow). Oddly enough, one of the gaps is caused by the fact that the outside cylinder is (...) (24 years ago, 19-Sep-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: pages updated

(...) The octan writing tile is missing the subparts, can you fix that? I have a place I want to use this piece. (24 years ago, 19-Sep-00, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: A project suggestion= Let's develop a Theme ourselves....

(...) [snip] (...) ......^^^^^......... You might want to think a wee bit before using that term in this context. It is not quite a Slur but close enough to get me to post this flame. DaveG (24 years ago, 19-Sep-00, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: A project suggestion= Let's develop a Theme ourselves....

(...) How about "Shoplifters?" It would consist of a series of already opend boxes which are stuffed back behind other LEGO sets. This would bnot require ant retooling at the factory, nor much in the way of design, as nothing would be needed except (...) (24 years ago, 19-Sep-00, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.general, lugnet.town)

Re: 30473 (Baseplate 32 x 32 Canyon Plate Without Island)

(...) Thanks! I learned a lot doing this one. I'd definitely recommend modifying an existing part as a way to begin. I didn't even need to add anything except studs, which I copied. I used ML-CAD - is this what most part authors recommend, or is (...) (24 years ago, 19-Sep-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: Parts license

(...) Why don't you hold off until we've got a decent parts-contributor-license put together? Although, the last I knew, they got this group via e-mail. So I hope they're reading this now, and can support us on this. Steve (24 years ago, 18-Sep-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: unofficial new primitive -- "Rounded Corner"  [DAT]

(...) Huh? The way you've got the file now, the sphere's centerpoint is at <1,1,1>. (...) The current orientation of the file has the 'bulge' going toward the origin, not away from it. So I'd say it's bulging inward. (...) You've got that whole (...) (24 years ago, 18-Sep-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)
