(...) I am just a little concerned about the rapidly increasing number of files we produce. It gets harder to overview. I know nothing about rendering program's cacheing and what effect usage of sub-files have. There has to be a balance, sub-parts (...) (24 years ago, 16-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, lugnet.cad.dev)

(...) Right now, there isn't any good way to handle rubber bands in L-CAD programs. LDraw's language was written to handle objects that don't change size or shape. (...) Keep in mind that for disk storage, the actual space taken is somewhat more than the actual filesize. For larger files, this extra space is insignificant. (...) 4-4cone1.dat and stu25.dat I don't know for 4-4cone1.dat. For stu25.dat the error comes because you use simplified representation of studs. In this case MLcad replaces studx.dat by stu2x.dat. But the file stu25.dat does not exist. To solve the (...) (24 years ago, 16-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts.primitives)
