Here's an idea I got when I constructed the roof for a túk-túk model I made recently (see Brickshelf if your curious). This is my first ever DAT. I made it with the ammazing MLCAD. The model is a moon rover-like model. It has super suppension that allows it to go over even the roughest terrian. I have accually made this model but am mkind the DAT as a learning (...) (25 years ago, 23-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

(...) The problem with such a thing would be that many parts have _many_ natural rotation points. Take, for example a simple thing as a 1×n plate. A user may very well want to rotate it by any of the studs, depending on how it is connected to (...) (25 years ago, 23-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Hi to all, since I played arround with MLCad the last couple of days to test it, I realy learned there is a mess with the rotations. MLCad currently try to rotate the part by its absolute center which sometimes works and sometimes not. So I feel I (...) (25 years ago, 23-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

(...) to (...) should be no problem with the command line stuff. The only thing I can think of is that the set LDRAWDIR=(wherever ldraw is located) doesn't work. I put it in the autoexec, but still, l3p just shows the "help" message, or the commands (...) (25 years ago, 21-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad)
