Re: Knights of the Round Table Vignettes

(...) My bad. It has those curved brown corners but I think the smaller ones... I still feel it has a 'square feel' but that's lego : ) God Bless, Nathan (19 years ago, 13-May-05, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

Re: Knights of the Round Table Vignettes

(...) ? It looked roundish to me, it just slices up into pieces along right angled lines. And I gotta say, composite vignettes rock! Spotlighted. (19 years ago, 13-May-05, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

Re: Knights of the Round Table Vignettes

Nice work! I particularly like the trumpets and the flags attached as banners without conventional clips... Is it just me or is the round table, well, square? ) I am also not sure about celebrating KK2... though that is probably best left to another (...)   Re: Yin to my Yang

(...) One of my favourite vignettes so far, simple, but beautiful, wonderfully executed! Awesome! Janey Red Brick (19 years ago, 11-May-05, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

  Re: Yin to my Yang

(...) Actually, I think it is perfect because the feminine is the white figure (the bit of yin in the yang, so to say). This is a wonderful MOC, Bruce! -Lenny (19 years ago, 11-May-05, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

  Re: Yin to my Yang

(...) Careful now. That's a slippery slope. ;p (...) Nice. I like that you gave the white side some elevation over the white side. Also the way the symbol flows into the floor. Fun vig.   Yin to my Yang

Hi all, Here I am, trying to be all artsy: (URL) to my Yang> (URL) (Yes, before someone brings it up, I know that the feminine yin is supposed to be black while the masculine yang is white, but I wasn't happy with my accessory choices to make the (...)   Re: My first Vigs

Hi Chris, Welcome aboard! I really like your work and you maybe have noticed that many of them have been highlighted on my blog (URL). There's a lot of great humor in there, like the octopus holding chopsticks or the depth of that puddle. Keep up (...) (19 years ago, 10-May-05, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

  My first Vigs

Hello all - I've been a long-time occasional lurker to Lugnet, but I've only recently become a "real" member, and this is my first ever posting. I'm quite new to the concept of Vignettes; normally my creations are at a larger scale. The challenge of (...) (19 years ago, 10-May-05, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX) !

  Re: HoB pics?

(...) We didn't have any castle themed Vignettes. In fact, we only had castle creations from a few builders present. (Larry Pieniazek, Nik Pieniazek, Ken Koleda, Felix Greco and yours truely.) The decision was made to open the Vig contest up to vigs (...) (19 years ago, 10-May-05, to lugnet.events.houseofbricks, lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

Re: First Vignette: Building at the Kitchen Table

(...) George, this is great! I love the image of figs building with LEGO. You pulled it off excellently. I also liked the daughter standing on a chair so that she could build too. Great stuff! Spotlighted! -Lenny (19 years ago, 3-May-05, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

Re: Joe Vig! Keep on Truckin'
