David,
I ended up with 17 'extra' 1x6 plates.
This bag was a one-off, there were no other bags like it.
The rest of the 1x6 plates came mixed in with other bags.
Unfortunately I didn't count the exact number of plates
in the bag, I simply dumped them in with the other extras,
so I don't know if there was already some extra 1x6 plates.

| (...) I haven't bought the Taj Mahal, but I did build one of the 1st Release UCS Falcons, and I also ended up with a bag full of extra parts. What I had, though, was a bag full of 2x4 right wings, and 2x4 left wings. 23 of each. The set inventory (...) (16 years ago, 28-Sep-08, to lugnet.build.sculpture)
