  Re: LEGO sculpture: Miniature DNA

(...) Hah! That's the coolest. How elegant and simple. Wish I'da thought of that. I may have to duplicate something of the sort for a "coffee table conversation piece". :-) -Chris (21 years ago, 13-Jul-03, to lugnet.build.sculpture)

  LEGO sculpture: Miniature DNA

Sometime smaller is better. I have built a miniature DNA helix out of LEGO bricks: (URL) harshbarger (21 years ago, 13-Jul-03, to lugnet.build.sculpture, lugnet.announce.moc) !!

Finally, an update to my Brickshelf folder.

G'day all, Well, it's taken a while, but I've finally gotten around to updating my Brickshelf folder. It now has a new section: Sculptures (hence the x-post). (URL) To give you an idea of how long it's been since I last updated, one of these (...) (21 years ago, 11-Jul-03, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.build.sculpture, FTX)

  Re: Another Classic Space Figure

(...) Inspired? Plagiarized is more like it. :-) I had thought about making him in black, but originally wanted to save that color for a gun, camera or metal detector. In the end, I scrapped them all and built the probe. I might still have enough (...) (21 years ago, 8-Jul-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.sculpture)

Ooo.. I like (and I'm flattered to see I inspired someone). I would have preferred to make mine in black, but black's very difficult to photograph. Oh yeah.. I'm still working on my ray gun and flag, so hopefully I'll have updates by the end of the (...) (21 years ago, 8-Jul-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.sculpture)

  Another Classic Space Figure

Inspired by (URL) Anne's minifig sculpture>, I decided to build one of my own - in blue. I also added a flag per Adm. Giddens (URL) comment>. When he was done though, he looked a little lonely - so I built a companion from (URL) set 6802>. Pic 1 (...)   Re: MOC: Han Solo in Carbonite (life size)

(...) Iirc, I thought there was the outline of the cuffs in the carbonite connecting the hands. But it's been a long time since I watched eps 5 and 6 (21 years ago, 8-Jul-03, to lugnet.build.sculpture, lugnet.starwars)

Re: MOC: Han Solo in Carbonite (life size)

(...) That is freakin' fantasic. You've captured the pained expression remarkably well, and I particularly like how you did the hands. One thing I've always wondered about the ol' Hansicle though: When he was lowered into the pit his hands were (...) (21 years ago, 8-Jul-03, to lugnet.build.sculpture, lugnet.starwars)
