I like it! The simple repetition of the fin pattern is very effective. Although this isn't strictly a sculpture of a fish, it reminds me of an idea I had-- that fish would be a good theme for (say) a Brickfest workshop on "how to design and build (...) (...) I like the idea of leaving them on as long as possible. There are at least 25 colors of 1x1 round plates, so you could potentially include a whole boat-load of gatherings.
