Hi Frank,
I hadn't tested it but just did and it works fine. I've never had any trouble
sticking plates into the back of headlight bricks before either. It is probably
because the top of studs is slightly angled thus removing collisions. I'm
constantly reminded that the part designers at Lego are very, very clever.

| (...) Ok, yea, a bit of bevel would help a lot (even if it technically isn't quite enough, LEGO can give some to absorb minor imperfections).
