Have you actually tried this out? From the back, I see you have 1x2/1x4
brackets plugged into the back of washing machine bricks. I think the 2nd
studs on the brackets will collide with the studs on the top of the washing
machine bricks (remember, a stud is ever so slightly taller than 1/2 a plate
thickness).

| (...) Hi Frank, I hadn't tested it but just did and it works fine. I've never had any trouble sticking plates into the back of headlight bricks before either. It is probably because the top of studs is slightly angled thus removing collisions. I'm (...) (19 years ago, 23-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.schleim)
