  Re: MOC: Frauenkirche Dresden

(...) SNIP There are good MOCs, and there are GOOD MOCs. This definitely falls in the latter. HoMa: I wish that I had both the bricks and the patience to build a MOC such as yours. Your detailing and part selection is excellent. I second John Neal, (...) (18 years ago, 15-Sep-06, to lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.build.schleim, FTX)

  Re: MOC: Frauenkirche Dresden

(...) This kind of great work is one of the reasons I no longer make MOCs!! :-) Great detail work and quite the eye for details. I bet you would be able to make an awesome real life ship or plane at this rate. If it weren't for the real life people (...)   Re: MOC: Frauenkirche Dresden

(...) Wow. I am speachless. when one clicks on a link, unsure of if it is a reference shot, or the model. You know it is a job well done. The attention to detail is amazing, as is the multitude of different building styles. I am a fan of rendering (...) (18 years ago, 14-Sep-06, to lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.build.schleim, FTX)

  Re: MOC: Frauenkirche Dresden

(...) Amazing. Jaw droppingly, amazing. I am clicking along, studying every image, wondering what I am going to say in respose to your post. What clever thought or comment could I contribute? (...) Holger, where's the part in your message where you admit that you actually work for LEGO, and that you're responsible for some of the large structures in the various Minilands in the LEGOLAND theme parks around the world? :) -Bryan (18 years ago, 14-Sep-06, to lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.build.schleim, FTX)

  Re: MOC: Frauenkirche Dresden

Very nice model! When we visited Dresden in June 2004, the church was still under construction, but largely finished on the outside. There was actually a large Lego model of the Frauenkirche in one of the local department stores (Kaufhof? (...) (18 years ago, 14-Sep-06, to lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.build.schleim, FTX)

  Re: MOC: Frauenkirche Dresden

  Re: MOC: Frauenkirche Dresden

That is an awsome MOC, a few times I couldn't tell the model from the real one in the Brickshelf thumbnail pictures. The detail work is wonderful! I would love to see it in person some day. jt (18 years ago, 14-Sep-06, to lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.build.schleim, FTX)

Re: Rusty Freight Car - an experiment

(...) I can see the idea of this, but I'd take it further. The white is very bright and contrasts too much with the very dark rust colours. I'd lose the stripe (or use a different colour entirely - sand blue?) and swap the white for something (...) (18 years ago, 8-Sep-06, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.town, lugnet.build.schleim, FTX)

Re: Rusty Freight Car - an experiment

Hi Erik, (...) Actually wasn't much improvement. It was too earthy and not washed out enough. Light yellow would be perfect but it has too limited a range of plates. (...) Do you think it would be worth sacrificing the horizontal lines for this? I (...) (18 years ago, 5-Sep-06, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.town, lugnet.build.schleim, FTX)

Re: Rusty Freight Car - an experiment

(...) Nice job Tim. The improvements I imagine : Colors : replace yellow by tan. The colors must be washed out.   Re: SNOT SHIP - T93 Solaris

(...) What do I think? I think it should of been at BrickFest is what I think. Holy crap this is pretty. Looks like a rebel blocade runner design at its core. Sweetness Jon, I think you raised the bar a tad. (18 years ago, 30-Aug-06, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.schleim, FTX)

Re: T93 Solaris - REFACTOR and DISSECTION

(...) I'd like to see a few overall shots of the exterior. The shots you have are good, but how about side, top, front, back, perspective, and etc. views of the whole ship? Thanks, Jeff (18 years ago, 28-Aug-06, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.schleim, FTX)
