Oh yeah... :) I couldn't really give any advice for creating your own. There are a few mosaic-making programs. You can try them and see if you really like one in particular's output. Seems some people like me have developed their own way to create (...) (21 years ago, 31-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.mosaic, FTX)

Michael, I enjoy a challenge. :) Using that image, here's what I came up with using my grayscale shading technique: (URL) Feel free to use the image. First off, I would like to thank everyone for sharing all their knowledge and works of art here on lugnet. I've been reading about mosaics for a while now and think I'm ready to start my own project. I'm wanting to make a grayscale, 144 x 48, 1x1 (...) (21 years ago, 30-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.mosaic)

(...) Yes, I have some problems I would like added ;] This program is great! I especially like some of the cool effects you can get with the "Nearest colour" dither. (...) I ran into this too while betatesting. If you were using, for example, MLCad, it might be a problem with the color definitions that MLCad is aware of. Bricksiac is getting its color info from the ldconfig.ldr file in the install dir, I think. (...) (21 years ago, 28-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.mosaic, lugnet.cad.dev)
