removing a really stuck neck from a head? —Jonathan Wilson
This 2nd hand lego shop I frequent has a head that I really want but there is a neck still stuck inside it (its snapped off at the neck) Anyone know of a way to remove the neck from the head so I can use it? If its not possible, I wont buy it :) (23 years ago, 14-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

Then put the screw extractor in and you should be able to move it, or tear apart the plastic. (a (...) (23 years ago, 14-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

(...) You may be able to get away with a small self tapping screw instead of a screw extractor... drill a hole, screw in the screw (gently) and pull hard on the screw. (...) Definitely. Also, for this sort of drilling, you should be using a Dremel (...) (23 years ago, 15-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

(...) BTW, seeing the condition it's in, can't you convince them to give it to you for free? Perhaps, throw it in for free if you make another purchase. Maggie C. (impressed that there is actually a second-hand LEGO shop where you are) (23 years ago, 15-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

(...) Just curious which head this is and why you want to go to any trouble to make it useable (I can think of about one head for which some amount of trouble might be worth it). Frank (23 years ago, 15-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

What I will probobly do is to see if he will sell me the head really cheap because its damaged and then try to fix it (much like how I got the black falcon flag cheap for the same (...)
