Re: Use found for Timmy! Hoorah!

While these are attractive, you could just send those Timmies to me. I LIKE Timmy, along with the whole TimeCruisers theme. (...) (23 years ago, 15-Jul-01, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

Re: Use found for Timmy! Hoorah!

(...) Be warned: It is highly addictive. I've committed myself to keeping one unmodified head of each sort, but have spent a lot of time subtly (and not so subtly) modifying faces. Some more useful ones (no pics yet): Barron von Barron (trim the (...) (23 years ago, 13-Jul-01, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

Woho, my first old style minifig

I just recived my first old style minifig, the torso and legs are black, and i thing i'll be using it for a statue, the best part is that i also got and older fire fighter, and a police officer, they make up for lost ones. Josh (23 years ago, 13-Jul-01, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

Re: Use found for Timmy! Hoorah!

(...) FWIW, use a pencil eraser for to remove broader printed areas such as sideburns and larger beards. If you don't trust yourself with a regular pencil eraser, art supply stores can have various kinds that are somewhat smaller and pointed. -Tom (...)   Re: Use found for Timmy! Hoorah!

(...) These are pretty clever and quite simple too. If I had the heart to take an exacto to my Lego, I'd seriously consider some of these (especially scraping those darn microphones off all the minifig heads!) Adrian -- www.brickfrenzy.com (23 years ago, 12-Jul-01, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

  Re: Myrddraal Minifig

(...) Did you ever consider looking at (URL) ? Jesse Long (23 years ago, 2-Jul-01, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

(...) Randland slug, of course. :) (...) Have you ever picked one up and looked at its underside? :) Jeff (23 years ago, 2-Jul-01, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

  Re: Myrddraal Minifig

(...) Is that an African Slug or a European slug? ;^) The slugs I find in my backyard are brown and spotted with black. Where does one find a white slug, I wonder? Just wondering... ~Grand Admiral Muffin Head (23 years ago, 1-Jul-01, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

  Re: Myrddraal Minifig

(...) Thanks! :) (...) Well, I have far more sunglasses heads than I have Vader heads, which is why I opted to go with yellow. If I'm going to do the incorrect (1) color, I might as well use the more common one. :) (...) Possibly, but I kind of (...) (23 years ago, 30-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

  Re: Myrddraal Minifig

Cool!!. I have had one for a while but with a black minifig head. You could use the grey minifig head that is Darth Vaders and modify it a bit. Do you plan to do other Robert Jordan Minifigs?? Mike Broam out (...) (23 years ago, 30-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

  Myrddraal Minifig

I had been meaning to build a Myrddraal for months now, and finally took the time to do it this morning. For your viewing pleasure, I present three pictures of a mounted Myrddraal from The Wheel of Time, complete with sword forged at Thakan'dar: (...)   Re: Help assembling minifigs

(...) There's no one place, but there are some references out there: For older figures, approximately up to 1997, many are shown by theme and subtheme on the Fibblesnork Guide at: (URL) guide has scans of actual figures. Brickset at (URL) has many (...) (23 years ago, 27-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

  Re: switching arms

(...) Good question. I've had similar problems. Unfortunately, the only pointer I've got is to only switch arms when necessary. :( Or insert small slips of paper between the arm-knob and the torso's arm-hole, to make a tighter fit. Steve (23 years ago, 18-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

  switching arms

Is there a best way to remove / add minifig arms so that they keep there original, tight enough to stay in place but not too tight, fit onto the torso? I've discovered that if you put the figs arms up over its head and the pry outwards with a slight (...) (23 years ago, 17-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

Re: King Henry VIII and wives

(...) Gee, thanks Richard! Not a hero of yours, I take it? Definitely a Bad King. I think the nosepiece of the crown helps his expression - I tried a bunch of hats on him to approximate the tam he wears in Hans Holbein's painting, but gave up and (...)   Re: King Henry VIII and wives

Really, really nice! I don’t know why and I don’t know how… but you’ve really captured the disposition Henry VIII. I realize that the minifig torso you used is a standard pirate themed body. However, for some reason I see the King you created as the (...) (23 years ago, 13-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.castle)

Re: King Henry VIII and wives

(...) Hee! I just used the Madame Tussaud arrangement to show them off. If I do more with the Tudor theme I may set up the execution scene. I'm scouting around looking for pictures of Hampton Court. Nice work, Heather!!! But shouldn't Anne Boleyn be shown "with 'er 'ead tucked underneath 'er arm"?? :-) Paul Sinasohn LUGNET #115 who is related to both Anne Boleyn AND Kathryn Howard on his mother's side... (23 years ago, 12-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.minifigs)
