I have tried to use them in robot builds myself, and have generally gone back to using six wheels after having traction problems, and watching (...) Danny, in theory you are right, however this solution won't help much in rough terrain, as the idea of incorporating track with the vehicle is to be able to move forward when there is no such thing as a flat surface.
