Re: Luftwaffe Prototype: Focke Wulf Ta-183 Jet Fighter

Thank you Gary! Of course you're welcome to build any of my models in 'real bricks' (Currently I don't own a single brick myself) just drop a note and I'll send you the .DAT/.LCD file currently I'm building some bigger WW2 planes but i'm having a (...)   Re: Luftwaffe Prototype: Focke Wulf Ta-183 Jet Fighter

(...) Robert, that is really nice. What I like most is that it's "rough" from using a few pieces, but was instantly recognizable. Great job. I'm glad you posted the rest of your gallery as well, there's a ton of great stuff in there that I haven't (...) (19 years ago, 5-May-06, to lugnet.build.military, lugnet.adventurers)

Luftwaffe Prototype: Focke Wulf Ta-183 Jet Fighter

Well, I usually focus on building actual existing WW2 airplanes. But I was inspired by the Protototype Hunters (hence the posting to the adventurers group) and the wonderfull website luft46.com to do something else. So here it is: A Minifig scale (...)   WW1 War Department 2 foot gauge Baldwin

I have finally finished my latest MOC, a (just larger than) Technic fig scale narrow gauge steam loco. I've written up a (URL) MOCpage> with loads of writing so probably best to go there so I don't have to say it all again. (2 URLs) I have also (...)   Taipan - Suborbital Stealthfighter

Hi all, Just a little VTOL suborbital fighter based loosely on (URL) this model>. It's designed to shut down and hide behind enemy lines and then surprise them from the rear.   Building Template in MLCAD?

I found this LEGO graph paper here: (URL) then thought I could take a schematic of a vehicle like this: (URL) scale/overlay a transparent version of it on the LEGO graph paper to use as a template to assist in the creation of the LEGO. Then I (...) (19 years ago, 6-Mar-06, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.military, lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.mlcad)

Re: New Destroyers: USS Gearing and USS Sumner

(...) Hi Daniel, Sorry to bust in on the exchange here, but I'd thought I might be able to answer your question. Military building is not my particular area of brickness (especially scale), but I was in the U.S. Navy back in the late 1980's and (...) (19 years ago, 2-Mar-06, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: New Destroyers: USS Gearing and USS Sumner

(...) Hmm... This has me thinking now! Perhaps if I'm seriously going to "compete" with you I should be working on something Japanese perhaps? Only sucky part is the difficulty in finding good documentation of non-US or European warships. (19 years ago, 2-Mar-06, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: New Destroyers: USS Gearing and USS Sumner

(...) Hi Dan! Great to hear from you again. Glad you like the new destroyers - Inspired as they are from your USS Duluth.   Re: MOC: MAN 5t military transporter

(...) Well done. Good use of new grey (if only Lego would keep old alive too). I especially like how you did the wheels and undercarriage - very nice. I wonder if it would look good with those wheels scaled down to 6 wide? -Matt :) (19 years ago, 27-Feb-06, to lugnet.build.military, lugnet.modelteam, FTX)

Re: MOC: MAN 5t military transporter

(...) Thank you! (...) I think so. It is 8 wide, but a minifigure is too small (they are always too small I think) although I used minifigure seats. It's rather Jack Stone scale. (...) 2.50 m (...)   Re: MOC: MAN 5t military transporter

(...) Very pretty. For people like me who are 6 wide train heads, is this vehicle as is too wide to fit in at 8? Put another way... Many US military vehicles are quite wide... how wide is this one in real life? Did you post it to modelteam because (...)   MOC: MAN 5t military transporter

Hello, Perhaps you already know the model from BrickShelf or 1000Steine, but still I want to show it here, too: (2 URLs) It is a German 5 tons military transporter.   Re: New Destroyers: USS Gearing and USS Sumner

Hey Mattias! These are a sweet addition to the Fletcher models! Also, it's an exciting devopment, with possibility of building a fleet without having to sell the whole farm! If you don;t mind, I'd like to contribute to this project. Give me an (...) (19 years ago, 26-Feb-06, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: New Destroyers: USS Gearing and USS Sumner
