Wow, that is really cool. My guess is that it is BB55 North Carolina circa
1943-1944. I cant wait to see it is finished. Looks great so far. I like the
lines of the bow and the turrets. The 5-38 turrets look great. The dazzle
cammoflage pattern actually works pretty well... it is hard to make out the
lines of the ship in the photos.
Dont know if you already know of this site, but I have found it full of very
interesting information and pictures of many warships. It looks like the site
is being revamped so alot of the information appears to be offline.

There is also great discussion boards with several veterans who have had the
priveledge to serve on some of these great ships who post regularly.
Thanks for sharing... it looks like it is shaping up to be a very impressive
model
