  Re: Jungle Chopper Base

Woah! That is really *something*. Your attention to detail is incredible, and the whole scope this thing is amazing too. I love it, terrific job. BTW your Laser Tower was also really cool. You must have a really huge collection to be able to build (...) (22 years ago, 21-Aug-02, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: Jungle Chopper Base

(...) Keith, The Chooper base looks great, nice work on the hangars and the details. George (22 years ago, 21-Aug-02, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: Jungle Chopper Base

(...) Keith, I've got to say that I really love this base. You've really added a lot of nice details. The way the helicopters landing pads slide into the hangars is awesome. I think the train doors and windows are perfect here. The power lines and (...) (22 years ago, 21-Aug-02, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: A-10 model in the brick!

(...) I think Mark gave me more credit than was due - all I have is a simple barrel and ammo drum, just like your pictures indicated. :) I could fit a longer cannon in (using a technic axle), but I don't know how it interacts with the drum so that (...)   Re: Military Base

(...) Thanks, George (22 years ago, 20-Aug-02, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: Military Base

Very, very nice base you've constructed Gregory. I particularly like that you've chosen to model military buildings, as most other military modelers (myself included) build only the sharp edge of a military's warfighting potential without any (...)   Jungle Chopper Base

In the great the great southern jungle, beyond the desolate concrete spires of the City State... there are a series of helecopter bases. Around the clock, the Air Cav protects the Pantheon from seperatists, undead, fugatives, enemy troops, and (...) (22 years ago, 19-Aug-02, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: Laser Tower

(...) Keith, I've never played Fortress America, but that is a lethal looking laser tower.' George (22 years ago, 19-Aug-02, to lugnet.build.military)

  Laser Tower

Submitted for your approval... The Iron Reich is proud to introduce its premier strategic weapon, the Laser Tower. Pictured here in one of the many canals that criss-cross the City-State, the weapon is powered by hydro-electricity, and protected by (...) (22 years ago, 18-Aug-02, to lugnet.build.military) !

  Military Base

After building enough structures I finally combined them into one base area. Featured are all the buildings from my brickshelf folder. I still plan on putting the vehicles in and populating it at some point, but just assembling it and then rendering (...) (22 years ago, 18-Aug-02, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: What's New on Brickshelf

(...) Thanks for the support- the base is on its way. I just spent all day putting it all together, hopefully it will be posted tomorrow depending on the rendering time. And considering the size of it (15.6 kb) that alone could take the whole day... (22 years ago, 18-Aug-02, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: MOC Shotgun

(...) Just start a new one to the groups you want to post in. -Chris (22 years ago, 16-Aug-02, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: A-10 model in the brick!

I should have posted this sooner, but I'd like to say that Bryan did a fantastic job on the A-10. Mark is absolutely correct in that Bryan had only simple jpeg screenshots to aid him in the building of his model. I'd have been impressed with how (...)   Re: His Majesty's Cutter "Friendly"

Thanks George, I'll try to get more pics as soon as I can. Kenneth Tam (22 years ago, 15-Aug-02, to lugnet.pirates, lugnet.build.military)

  Re: His Majesty's Cutter "Friendly"

(...) It's a whole new world to get used to, but I've been finding it progressively easier to get a handle on. (...) That's on the books for larger vessels. 'Friendly' is fitted out to handle that decking when I get my hands on more tan plating, but (...) (22 years ago, 15-Aug-02, to lugnet.pirates, lugnet.build.military)

  Re: His Majesty's Cutter "Friendly"

(...) An excellent opening salvo in the application of SNOT building to Pirate ships! I'm sure you're discovering a lot of the same things I did in my three SNOT vessels--especially the 6:5 ratio which will become firmly imprinted in your head as (...)   Re: A-10 model in the brick!

(...) What's more, Bryan eyeballed it (no instructions, just the pics to work from). And you can't see it, because he hasn't installed opening doors/hatches yet, but he even included internal gatling cannon detail. Yup, I love how many LEGO builders (...)   New Mecha and LDraw Files

First off, I built a new mecha. Basically, I just wanted to add as much weaponry on it as I could. The bazooka is my personal favourite. ;-) It also comes with a zero-g pack, radome, and smoke discharger system. Naturally, I was inspired heavily by (...)   Re: A-10 model in the brick!

(...) Bryan -- That's an excellent job you did there! Bryce's creations are amazing in VR, but having the physical embodiment to look at shows his talent (and yours!). Thanks for sharing it with us! (Now if only we could do it in olive drab...!) (...) (22 years ago, 13-Aug-02, to lugnet.build.military)
