  Re: What's New on Brickshelf

(...) Now that's some great stuff! All of the really neat vehicles and well thought out buildings. I can't wait to see all of them put together. That will be amazing. Great job Greg, keep it up and be sure to post when you're done! -Nick (22 years ago, 8-Aug-02, to lugnet.build.military)

  What's New on Brickshelf

Check it out! (URL) Gregory Overkamp, who I've never seen post around here, has military creations! Well worth a look, IMHO. best LFB (22 years ago, 8-Aug-02, to lugnet.build.military)

Oh, and the bottom is well (...) yeah I would of liked to of added a proper landing gear, but getting it to fit, and making a cover to fit in with the rest of the smooth surface (...) You squeezed a *LOT* in there. Overall, it's a (...) (22 years ago, 7-Aug-02, to lugnet.build.military)

  New Model

Heya Check out my latest model: (URL) called the F-39 Makko and it is my *supposed* replacment for the F-35 maybe 30 years down the road or so. It steals many design cues from the F-35 and F-22, as it is designed to be a stealth aircraft, but I (...) (22 years ago, 7-Aug-02, to lugnet.build.military, lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

  Re: Burned-Out Building

(...) Hey! It worked! That is exactly the image that kept creeping into my head while I was building it! That, and a post office design in a diorama at the Portland (Maine) airport, where they have a number of models on display. The one I'm thinking (...)   Re: Burned-Out Building

You know, so many (& myself) make buildings intact, when something like this comes along we forget that they're made out of little pieces. I've never seen any "damaged" Lego creations before. It's a very unique, and great building! (22 years ago, 4-Aug-02, to lugnet.build.military, lugnet.town)

Re: Announcing the Tranclast Type C

I really like the idea of a small troop insertion ship, and you've done a great job seeing the concept through. I think what I like most is the constantly shift plane of angles on this little beauty....a difficult job on smaller ships for sure. Just (...)   Re: Announcing the Tranclast Type C

Each engine pod is attached to the fusilage by two click hinge joints. On the pod side, there are two normal 1x2 click hinge bricks. Attached to each one of those is a click hinge connector piece. On the side of the fusilage is a 2x1 technic brick (...) (22 years ago, 30-Jul-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, lugnet.build.military)

  A-10 model in the brick!

Hi all, Recently, I finally completed building Bryce Rollin's A-10 "in the brick". (...) Very Cool design you have. Were you inspired by any specific thing or is this an original design? Great use of the Alpha team cockpit, I have been having trouble incorporating it into some of my designs. Question: Can you explain how the wings (...)   Re: MOC of the day: Japanese Type 95 Light Tank

Nice little tank! I think you can probably play around with some 1x2x1 thinwalls and actually get a minifig in the turret hatch. The Japanese did actually make some nice looking armor, but for some reason I can't fathom, never made it to mass (...) (22 years ago, 27-Jul-02, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: MOC of the day: Japanese Type 95 Light Tank

Sorry to respond to myself, but I've already made a modification (raised the hatch and added the front lights), and I figured out how to use my timer so I have a clearer profile and front shot. (2 URLs) best LFB (22 years ago, 25-Jul-02, to lugnet.build.military)
