  Re: Technic A-10 Warthog

Yeah, that's it, that's what I meant... Actually, I always call that gun by the wrong name. But the 6 barrel excuse does sound pretty good, doesn't it? :) One of these days I suppose I'll remember to use the correct name, won't I. Thanks for the (...) As for how the (expletive deleted) I did that, well, that's between me and the psychotic Lego Spirit that gives me the inspiration. Adrian -- (...)   Re: Technic A-10 Warthog

Dang! That is just amazing Adrian! I can't even begin to comprehend how you packed all those features into your model. Impressive, most impressive. BTW isn't the gun called the [1] Avenger? I thought the [2] Vulcan was a smaller gatling gun used by (...) (23 years ago, 30-Nov-01, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.build.military)

  Re: Technic A-10 Warthog

(...) Yes. The real thing is balanced by the gun. In fact, when the gun is removed, a series of large heavy plates are put in its place for just that reason. I worked F-16 weapons for the 57 FWW. Which was a composite training wing with a wide (...) (23 years ago, 30-Nov-01, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.build.military)

  Re: Technic A-10 Warthog

(...) Sure! I'll see what I can do this weekend to get a little more detail of that area. Adrian (23 years ago, 30-Nov-01, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.build.military)

  Re: Technic A-10 Warthog

(...) It would be great if you just show the detail of the flightstick part by photo or LDraw. Your A-10 is the Technic model of the year! (23 years ago, 30-Nov-01, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.build.military)

  Re: Technic A-10 Warthog

(...) Well, technic figs come apart somewhat easily, so I could litter it with some shrapnel from one of them :) Maybe my next project will be a minifig scale A-10. Now that I've built the big version, I might be able to do a smaller one. I don't (...) (23 years ago, 30-Nov-01, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.build.military)

  Re: Technic A-10 Warthog

Nice to see the good ole Thunderbolt II!!!!! Sad it's in technic form, no dismembered minifigs from the cannon on front. :P Does the seat really slide in? that makes a neat ejection system. the rotating machine gun is good too. I also like how you (...) (23 years ago, 30-Nov-01, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.build.military)

  Re: Technic A-10 Warthog

(...) Ya know, that makes sense with respect to the gun. The way that the plane is designed, the rear landing gear are pretty far forward (in fact, I think they may be right smack in the middle) and with the engines hanging off the back, it's (...)   Re: Technic A-10 Warthog

(...) Probably not. It would be completely impossible for me to Ldraw all the wiring, tubing, and flex cables. If the inspiration strikes me, I might be able to do part of it, though it's unlikely. Adrian (23 years ago, 30-Nov-01, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.build.military)

Hey gang, my latest creation is completed. With 3 technic motors, 1 micromotor, 3 fiberoptic banks, 4 large pneumatic cylinders, and 1 small pneumatic cylinder, this has a lot of nifty features. Hi Masterbuilder Mr Tosiaki (...) Thank you for the dat-files. Your solution to the suspension / wheel arrangement for the Sherman tank is really clever and elegant.
