Re: MOC: MAN 5t military transporter

(...) Well done. Good use of new grey (if only Lego would keep old alive too). I especially like how you did the wheels and undercarriage - very nice. I wonder if it would look good with those wheels scaled down to 6 wide? -Matt :) (19 years ago, 27-Feb-06, to lugnet.build.military, lugnet.modelteam, FTX)

Re: MOC: MAN 5t military transporter

(...) Thank you! (...) I think so. It is 8 wide, but a minifigure is too small (they are always too small I think) although I used minifigure seats. It's rather Jack Stone scale. (...) 2.50 m (...)   Re: MOC: MAN 5t military transporter

(...) Very pretty. For people like me who are 6 wide train heads, is this vehicle as is too wide to fit in at 8? Put another way... Many US military vehicles are quite wide... how wide is this one in real life? Did you post it to modelteam because (...)   MOC: MAN 5t military transporter

Hello, Perhaps you already know the model from BrickShelf or 1000Steine, but still I want to show it here, too: (2 URLs) It is a German 5 tons military transporter.   Re: New Destroyers: USS Gearing and USS Sumner

Hey Mattias! These are a sweet addition to the Fletcher models! Also, it's an exciting devopment, with possibility of building a fleet without having to sell the whole farm! If you don;t mind, I'd like to contribute to this project. Give me an (...) (19 years ago, 26-Feb-06, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: New Destroyers: USS Gearing and USS Sumner

(...) Thanks Lindsay I will test with white domes. I have ordered a reference book on eBay about the Mothballed Fleet which I hope to receive in a few days. Then I will now if white is more correct.   Re: New Destroyers: USS Gearing and USS Sumner

(...) Hi Mattias, These are beautiful, just beautiful. I especially like the "mothball" picture, with the shields over the AA. But don't you need white domes...? ;) LFB (19 years ago, 20-Feb-06, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: New Destroyers: USS Gearing and USS Sumner

(...) I have just uploaded more pictures for you and other ship-fans. My Gearing models are developed form my previous Fletcher (as the real Gearings were).   Re: IRON MECHA ENTRY: Heavy Weapons Mecha Unit (H.W.M.U)

(...) I really like the use of color in your mech--it makes it stand out from the other entries. The Viking horns near the feet are a nice touch too. David "Fuzzy" Gregory (19 years ago, 31-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.build.military, lugnet.build.contests, FTX)

HEAVY WEAPONS MECHA UNIT (H.W.M.U) (2 URLs) This is my first real attempt at a Mecha, and I have really enjoyed constructing it.   Modified LCAC- A cool hovercraft

At a recent city fair, the Marines from Camp Pendleton had a display of some of their really cool equipment. The best part was they were allowing visitors to climb in, on and explore the vehicles.   Shoelessjoe Refueled
