  Re: Tank-killer..

(...) Hi Joe- it's beautiful, crisp, clean. Very nicely executed! I really love your microscale work, keep it coming :) Cyndi (20 years ago, 16-Nov-04, to lugnet.build.military, lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

  Re: Whoa, check this out

Hi Dave You’ve linked to the wrong page; it point at some woozy guide to wimpy nonlethal weapons. Cheers NB (20 years ago, 6-Nov-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.build.military, lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: New MOC: "Condor" Hover Gunship

In lugnet.announce.moc, Soren Roberts wrote: SNIP (...) Dude, this MOC makes my brain hurt. The building quality is in your typical high form, and it took me awhile to figure out what it was that I didn't like about it. I think it's the flat circle (...)   Whoa, check this out

Not sure where to FUT--please direct as appropriate. (URL) 4 meg document may provide some interesting ideas for mech weaponry, etc. Dave! (20 years ago, 3-Nov-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.build.military, lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: New MOC: "Condor" Hover Gunship

(...) Whoa! Very innovative design, but I can see where JP is coming from when he says it seems unbalanced... It reminds me of Jon's Q-wing, but in that case the bulk was central, where it met the circular section, rather than in this case where (...)   Re: New MOC: "Condor" Hover Gunship

(...) Now Keith, don't be afraid... show me on the doll where the angel touched you. Context? I don't need no steenking context. (...) Now that's just libelous...   Re: New MOC: "Condor" Hover Gunship

I don't know... although most people posting seems to like it, I find this MOC unbalanced. It looks to me like you put toghether two MOCs : the antigrav POD at the back, and a plane / fighter. Maybe I have this feeling because of the orientation of (...) (20 years ago, 3-Nov-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military, FTX)

Re: New MOC: "Condor" Hover Gunship

I wonder if you (and maybe the concept artists working on Half Life 2) were also influenced by the VTOLs in the original Bubblegum Crisis series. Whatever the inspiration, the "Condor" is awesome. I wish I could pilot one, but I wouldn't want to be (...) (20 years ago, 3-Nov-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military, FTX)

Re: New MOC: "Condor" Hover Gunship

(...) I did enjoy this tale of 2 mocs. The front half of the craft is your classic Robertsian boilerplate...solid but nothing unusual. The back side which sort of resembles a cd-player is money. Like a good episode of Murder She Wrote, or Touched by (...) (20 years ago, 3-Nov-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military, FTX)

Re: New MOC: "Condor" Hover Gunship

(...) Is that what they're from? I just found a picture of a vehicle like this and forgot where... Thanks! I'll have to look for more art from that game. Soren (20 years ago, 2-Nov-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military)

Re: New MOC: "Condor" Hover Gunship

(...) All in all, I like it. It looks like an evolution from modern day helicopters. The chin gun looks very nice, along with the hover-system itself. It presents a new approach to how one would possible make the vehichle hover instead of (...) (20 years ago, 2-Nov-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military, FTX)

Re: New MOC: "Condor" Hover Gunship

(...) Hi Soren, That's a great unconventional form you've got there. I really like the shape of the wings (or are they canards? or simply supports for the weaponry?) I also enjoy how you used (URL) these.> Truly art. While not eligible for the (...) (20 years ago, 2-Nov-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military, FTX)

Re: New MOC: "Condor" Hover Gunship

(...) Not bad. I quite like it actually. And I was able to immediately spot to resemblance to those wierd hover gunship thingys from the Half-Life 2 preview videos. Now I don't know if the resemblance was diliberate, but if it wasn't it's one hell (...) (20 years ago, 2-Nov-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military, FTX)

  New MOC: "Condor" Hover Gunship

(URL) (Click the link) This is not an entry in the military hover contest, as I am judging and it would be unethical to enter a model of my own (IMHO). Enjoy! Soren (20 years ago, 2-Nov-04, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military, FTX) !!

  Military Hover-Vehicle Contest!
